	The Movies of 1986 The year 1986 brought Tom Cruise once again into the limelight with the mega-hit "Top Gun" and Paul Hogan came from Down Under to super-stardom as "'Crocodile' Dundee." Oliver Stone's movie "Platoon" was crowned as the best movie of the year and Robert Reiner's "Stand By Me" made its rounds in theatres receiving much praise; Woody Allen told us about "Hannah and Her Sisters" and Jeff Goldblum gave a baboon a rather memorable scene in the modern-day remake of "The Fly."
