The decade went out with a bang as Kevin Costner heard voices in "Field of Dreams," Spike Lee tried to get
everyone to "Do the Right Thing," and Tom Cruise learned what it was like to be "Born on the Fourth of July."
However, the big film of the year had super-cool Jack Nicholson as The Joker, nemesis of Michael Keaton's
"Batman." Andie MacDowell and James Spader conversed of "sex, lies, and videotape" while Steve Martin and
a strong cast told us the tales of "Parenthood."
