Bob Marley formed his band �The Wailers� in 1964. By 1972, they had recorded four albums and produced several hit songs on the Carribean charts. He collaberated with songwriter Johnny Nash and produced songs that
became popular throughout the United States and Great Britain. Marley is credited with bring Reggae beyond the shores of Jamaica and influencing singers and songwriters throughout the world.
On May 11, 1981, Marley lost his fight against cancer. |
