Chyler Leigh was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and started her career modelling in print ads in Miami at the age of 12. She soon broke into commericals and made her feature film debut in 1997's "Kickboxing Academy," also starring her brother Christopher Khayman Lee.
Her previous television roles include a guest-starring stint on "7th Heaven" and a lead in the drama "Safe Harbor," in which she was again cast opposite her brother, this time much to the unwitting producers' surprise. Leigh followed this role with the lead in the 2001 comedy "Not Another Teen Movie".
